Two Moms, No Beards.

Today I needed a little bit of a pick me  up, it is my first week of tests at college, so i'm nervewrecked. it's way stressful. I dug a little deeper into my collection for this song. While it is a real song, knowing the title and hearing the lyrics make me extrememly slaphappy from time to time. I don't listen to this song regularly, but man is it fun when I do.

Enjoy, If Your Dad Doesn't Have A Beard, You Have Two Moms.

Also, if your comments don't even make sense, I'm just going to unfollow you. Why should I spend time reading your shit anymore if you can't even post anything about a video. This isn't "Information" so stop saying "Nice info" and shit. And from now on I will counterclick as many times as i am per day, it seems people stopped that as well. Upsetting,

My Lover. Shot. In. The. Head...!

Now I really do NOT like this band, The Pierces, but I did find this non album track on youtube and instantly fell in love with it. It's another one of those twangy pop songs, so how could I not die and come back to life hearing it? Since it isn't on a CD as of yet (for what reasons? It's been a known song for a few years) this live version will have to suffice for you all. It's not bad quality, which I was surprised about.

Enjoy!

My Weekends, School, Piercings, And Stuff

I may or may not be posting much weekends now a-days. I'm starting my work towards my piercing license and all, plus my classes and college classes. Just saying, I won't be doing too much music updating for the weekends.

Valentino

This is one concert I'm pretty sure I never wanna miss again. Diane Birch has such a soulful sound to her music, this song is one of her more upbeat songs, it's one of those happy songs that just make you wanna dance and sing a long. The music video is one of the neatest I've seen in a while, and I must admit, she's a looker.

I hope you all enjoy this song,

Toys And Their Awful Effect On Toy Makers

Dr. Steel is BY FAR my favorite male artist ever. His lyrics are soo...differet, his style, while it may ave a rock feel to it, is much more of a collab between rock, rap, opera and funk. Now most people are really confused and tend to display the face of "Do not want" after that, but a good listen through of a song really makes them see the true nature of Dr. Steel.
This musician is so much more than just music and lyrics. It's hard to describe without it sounding like a cult following though, so I'll just give you a link to some of his stuff.

And for this song that will totally blow you away with the amount of styles of music and singing he does.

Enjoy this song, Lament For A Toy Factory

Devils Beat

Call me a weirdo if you wish, but there is a soft spot in my heart for pseudo country songs. Nothing too folky, nothing too twangy, but when I find the perfect combination of the two, that shit stays with me. I was playing Korean Audition 2 when I found this song, no youtbe for a change. This song has a nifty beat with some lyrics that actually made me sing out loud, that right there is a rare occurance. Please enjoy todays song.

Backin' Up, Cause My Daddy Taught Me Good

Well this was a random find on my part.
I don't know about you all. but I really hate how awesome Auto Tune is. I hate it for being used in REAL music, but nifty little Auto Tuned things that aren't for serious are AMAZING.

I'm pretty sure most of you have heard the BED INTRUDER song by now, but I was on Stumbleupon yesterday and found this new Auto Tune News segment. They did a good job making this Auto Tune NOT rap like and more...Poppy.

Please enjoy this LOVELY tune called Backin' Up

She's Fixin' To Thrill

Dragonette may be one of my favorite electroesque artists ever. Her music makes me feel sassy, no doubt. When I'm walking through campus with her music on I cannot help it, I have to strut. I'm not even kidding, that's the sad part. You'll see what I mean with this song, Fixin' To Thrill by Dragonette herself.

Co-Co-Corollaceous

What can I say? I love a good minimalistic song. Not too much going on, but lyrics that are semi pop and semi hip hop. I fall for those, unless guys sing it. I'm not that big of dudes voices, you won't see many of them on here. But Rebekkamaria is something everyone should hear, and no one should mess with. All of her music has a somewhat electro feel to it, or techo, or whatever you want to concider it, but either way people tend to fall for the music. That's why today I'm here to present*drumroooooooooooollllll* Corollaceous by Rebekkamaria.

MC Fontawhooo?

There is always a side of me that loves a little rap and such, but finding a rapper that actually has a beat I like and a flow that's fun to hear isn't the easier. That's why i'm super happy to have found MC Frontalot a few years ago. The one song I wanted wasn't really online via youtube, so I'll have to suffice with this great song. Please enjoy.

Kiss The Whaaaa?

Sometimes I'm just in an awkward music mood where I look up techno/hardcore/DnB and such. A while back I was doing this, maybe two or three months ago, and came across this song in a random download pack. It's not the traditional hardcore song I was expecting, so it really popped for me, and stuck with me.

Roughsketch is pretty well know for that, I found out, and I really enjoy all his stuff.

As for tomorrows blog, Saturday September Fourth, I will most likely be skipping. I'll be at my college doing a little bit of volunteer work, and meeting up after for the first on campus LAN of the year. I'll try my best to get the blog up though!

How To Tame The Day

Simplicity is the key today. Last day of classes for the week, a nice long weekend ahead, Labor day parties anyone? The simplicity to this song makes it a great hit. I really fell in love with the keyboard in this song. The video itself is simple but beautiful.
I hope you all enjoy.

Who Doesn't Love A Little Pi

Since today I only have one class, and that class being Algebra (yea, I'm only in algebra, after taking 2 years of lame business math I forgot like everything else) I decided to post this...awkward find from a while back.

I was enjoying a podcast known as "The Awful Show" which they do play music, more of the Nerdcore genre than anything else. Once day this song popped up and I knew I needed it in my life. It makes me feel like such a dork and I enjoy every minute of it.

I hope you enjoy this song by Hard N Phirm.
